For my big birthday I was given a voucher for a cooking course. Courses on a wide variety of topics are offered on the homepage. My chosen topic was Kirtaschmankerl 😊 There was a welcome glass of champagne. The course was conducted personally by Alexander H. Unlike other courses, here the courses were pre-cooked by the chef and the cooking processes were explained and questions were answered. During this time, the participants are treated to wine and bread with butter or sausage spread. Of course, you could always try again in between. The highlight of each course was watching the serving, which was also well explained and shown. While the participants sat down at the dining table, the cow team brought the food to the plate in the show kitchen (at high performance). The menu was super tasty and the presentation was a feast for the eyes. The service staff was also very attentive and refilled the wine glass or the water bottles on the tables upon request. The cooking course is definitely recommended, I will definitely come back to another topic and be showered with ideas.

Is the Huberwirt really still an insider tip? In any case, you wouldn't necessarily expect such a good restaurant in the middle of the country. Unless you go there intentionally to get good food. We hoped for this and were certainly not disappointed. You can see what we got in the pictures. We liked the starters the most, but the choice of main courses was probably too conservative. We also enjoyed them very much, but they weren't particularly unusual. All in all, really great cuisine, nice staff, the boss even came over himself. We also liked the ambience. Another detail: we also had someone with us who has gluten intolerance. This was no problem at all and was taken into account in a highly efficient manner.

A lovely experience on all levels! From the reception to the service to the food, it's simply top notch. I had a vegetarian 6-course menu with wine accompaniment. Every single dish was a little work of art and tasted really delicious. It also made you feel full. Plus the great wine. What more do you want. The service was also very friendly and accommodating so you felt like you were in good hands during the 4 hours. I will definitely come back!
